Shockingly I say this is better than their 'peak' of the 90s, with their classic psych soundscapes to me being MORE innovative and less repetitive than before. One track stops me calling it a stellar album, arguably the most innovative (Crumplepenny).

Spacey synth patterns, soaring guitars, proper drive and groove, the tracks are solid as expectable, provided by this veteran band from the UK headed by Ed Wynne. Except one track there's not much new going on here regarding innovation on the other hand.
