"Really good production, but I cannot get past the vocals. David's voice works great in Pink Floyd, but that is partially due to the contrast to Roger Waters' voice and the substantially better vocal lines and lyrics. On this album the vocals are cringeworthy."

C Gloomy Non-Prog Blues/Rock

"I didn't expect a soft/smooth Blues album from David Gilmour, but here it is. Well produced, slick and shiny. No spectacular guitar work either, solid but not nearly as impressive as the average Joe Bonamassa release. Which would have been no problem with a bit more substance."
