Transatlantic - Bridge Across Forever 2001
Awesome album filled with great epics! Highly recommended for modern symphonic prog fans! Comment by J-Man 13 years ago

Shadow Gallery - Shadow Gallery 1992
A solid debut from Shadow Gallery, but the production is terrible, and they are capable of MUCH more. Comment by J-Man 13 years ago
The Flower Kings - The Sum of No Evil 2007
Quite possibly my favorite Flower Kings album! Every song is great, and this is one of my favorite albums ever! Comment by J-Man 13 years ago
Metallica - Master of Puppets 1986
THE most important thrash metal album ever!! While the following album is definitely better, I highly recommend this!!! Comment by J-Man 13 years ago

Death - The Sound Of Perseverance 1998
Excellent progressive metal album. One that I highly recommend, but Symbolic is still their best album. Comment by J-Man 14 years ago
Yes - Fragile 1972
Maybe the most overrated album ever. Some great songs, but there isn't anything that special about this album. Comment by J-Man 14 years ago

Death - Symbolic 1995
Death's best album ever, and is one of the best progressive metal albums ever released. Comment by J-Man 14 years ago
Queensrÿche - American Soldier 2009
A decent album from start to finish. No surprises, nothing unique or out of the ordinary, but it is solid for the most part. Comment by J-Man 14 years ago

IQ - Frequency 2009
IQ's 2009 effort is solid, but not as good as their previous, Dark Matter. It's still one of the better 2009 albums, though. Comment by J-Man 14 years ago
Toy Matinee - Toy Matinee 1990
A very good album in-between prog related and crossover prog. A very good album by a genius that died far too soon. RIP Kevin. Comment by J-Man 14 years ago
Epignosis - Still the Waters 2009
Wow! An unexpected gem that is becoming oneof my favorite 2009 albums. Great job Robert! Comment by J-Man 14 years ago
Kevin Gilbert - Thud 1995
A great album by an incredible musician who was taken away from us far too soon. This has great music, incredible lyrics, and a great voice. Highly Recommended! Comment by J-Man 14 years ago
Spock's Beard - Day for Night 1999
This is the weakest Neal Morse-era Spock's Beard album. While it isn't bad, it certainly doesn't rank up with their other masterpieces. Good, but non essential. Comment by J-Man 14 years ago
Spock's Beard - Octane 2005
This is a pop/rock album first, but it sure is a good one. There are a few passable track, but as a whole this is a very solid album, with a few memorable moments. I recommend this people who want the more accessible side of Spock's Beard. Comment by J-Man 14 years ago
Spock's Beard - Beware Of Darkness 1996
Their second album was the first with Ryo on keys, and he does a great job. The songwriting is very solid, and it has the classic Spock's Beard sound throughout the album. The Doorway reminds me of Genesis' Firth of Fifth. Great Album! |
