CD versus MP3

The following two charts give you some idea of how many albums are available in stores and in which form. The second chart is normalized so that all the segments add up to 100 (+/- some rounding errors). BTW: We are continuously linking albums to their respective online store pages ... but of course we can't cover all of the stores or all of the albums. The charts are based on the data that we collect, and we're always expanding our database ... so you can see this as a work in progress.
