Comment by Mike 4 years ago Mike is very familiar with this album. Magnificent Retro Non-Prog Jazz! Melodic, Melancholic, Smooth, Somber, Piano, Saxophone, Female-Clean-Vocals perfect Songwriting, stellar Musicianship, magnificent Composition and Production This is my favorite Jazz album ... the way Karrin Allyson interprets those Coltrane compositions is absolutely amazing. Her vocals sound almost like a saxophone at times, and every little detail fits perfectly. An absolutely essential release! |
